As we approach this holiday season this community often goes into a frenzy. Deals everywhere, Then we all run to a thread titled "hey, what you get" and eventually a dikk swinging contest breaks out with no woman in sight

What I never see here outside of a couple random acts of kindness is people talking about what they have done for others. And I don't mean it in a trump like manner either, just simply, how are you serving others this holiday season?

Let's cut out the bullshyt, most of you have no plans outside of your own desires. If you believe in God, Then that's a sin but, it's not too late. Doesn't matter if you Ballin or slummin, you are capable of doing something if you put your mind to it... Will you

I personally used to volunteer, but with a new kid in the mix I plan on doing something different. Haven't decided what exactly, am hoping I could maybe steal an idea or two from the epic discussion this thread will surely evolve into

Always look out for mom's but I must say, if you decide to think outside of the box you're comfortable with? Well, you'll be surprised at how fulfilling it is to bring happiness to others. That feeling is better than serving yourself. I promise you this.

Every holiday season me and the fam try to do some volunteering somewhere.

This year we are gonna serve food at the Cleveland Food Bank.

And I also make them go through all the stuff they got over the year and find some stuff to donate. And not just broken and unused stuff, I make them pick something that is important to them.

I know I spoil my kids, my wife and I have been lucky enough to build a decent life together, to where they can pretty much get whatever they want. So I try to make sure they understand how good they got it and how to pass their blessings on.

Also I personally have taken the lead roll in getting the family together. Both mine and my wife's family are dysfunctional as fukk. If I wasn't cooking thanksgiving dinner and opening my home a lot of my friends and family would have nowhere to go. I take much pride in that and try to set the tone as the lead male in my own and extended family.

One way to find out what's going on is Google. You can find local charity volunteer events that way. And while that is a possibility, I would rather start doing something myself these days. I just feel like I could do more than what I've done in the past on my own. I did met a bunch of people that would be willing to volunteer if/when I'm ready so that's cool. Tbc
