I predict Elden Ring, Forbidden West, and Ragnarok will be in the finals.
aint beat Ragnarok yet and prolly won't till next year cuz I got a lot on my plate(Tactics Ogre didn't help my backlog)
I vote for Forbidden West(despite the bad story) as of now.
GT7 woulda been my game of the year but they did some bullshyt with the grind and micro transactions that left a sour taste in my mouth. good base game with caveats.

Its tricky, I felt Halo might've got nominated if the post launch wasn't a disaster. I know the first month of the game was very popular and it still holds a 87 MC.Yet another year where Xbox has no GOTY contender. This shyt beyond scust at this point.

God of War, Elden Ring, Horizon will be there; something from Nintendo (XBC3 probably) and a couple of indies - Immortality and something else. Maybe Kirby or Bayo 3 might sneak in as well.

It's about having access to the highest amount of mid at any given time.
That being said...
Elden Ring is going to win with Horizon Forbidden West and God Of War Ragnarok right behind it.
It's early but I'm going with God Of War for my game of the year and depending on what Warzone 2.0 looks like I might give it to CODMW2
