Have these ppl have been watching every team all year? Saturday, at the same time OU was playing TCU, Stanford was playing ND, and Alabama was plaing Ole Miss. So I'm to believe these ppl each watched one game very closely and DVR'd the others to watch them in their full 3 and a half hour entirety? :upsetfavre:

Are they watching all the UNRANKED teams as well? Arizona went from being unranked to now being in the top 10 after beating Oregon. I mean, the only Arizona game I personally recall seeing this season is them coming within a last minute desperation TD from being defeated by UT-San Antonio. Was the committee watching this random Thursday game? And now that Arizona is a top 10 team, are they currently going back and watching the previous Arizona games before they beat Oregon to get a true gauge on the team?:upsetfavre:

I find it hard to believe Condolezza Rice or whoever else is gonna catch up on their DVR 4-5(or more) football games every week they missed. :upsetfavre:

I'd almost rather a computer do the picking like the BCS b/c this process sounds like hogwash :ehh:

Well first, if you DVR'd the game you can burn thru it in less than 2 hours.

Second, no. Theres no point in them doing that now. Your example with Arizona...it would be moot if they end up losing their next 4 games or whatever.

If anything, I would just expect the committee to just keep close watch on all the good matchups during the season. They really only need to sit down and thoroughly watch like 5 games a week. At the end of the season, I would expect them to see the majority of all the games from the teams with 2 or less losses.

you know they aren't. they just going with the "team A was ranked #3 and team B beat them so team B should be somewhere in the top 10:ld:"
i think the closer it gets to the end where they can see the entire resume is when they'll dig into it. i hope so anyway

If Arizona continues to win, or even if they lose one game and things begin to bottleneck at the top, then they'll go back at the END of the season and watch the previous Arizona games to see if they're better than the other 1-loss teams? :upsetfavre:

And again, what are "the good matchups"? Is un-ranked Arizona vs already battle tested(beat Mich St) #2 Oregon at HOME a "good matchup". By all rights, it should've been a blowout.

They may as well let us fans have a poll. :heh:

It's the same shyt with all sports. Nothing more obvious than NBA awards selections. People were still putting Kobe All Defense in 2012 :scust:

Most of these guys are at one game covering one team. they're not at home flipping through every game like some of us:mjcry:

Having neutral site semifinal games is the dumbest thing in sports history
