The Walking Dead vs The Returned

Don't know how many people in the states know about The Returned.

For those that don't its a French mini series with English subs. I caught the marathon yesterday of the whole season ( like 7 episodes) except last (Thursday nite)

I've seen all seasons of walking dead and I'm a fan but this The Returned shyt to me might hav the edge because the dead aren't mindless zombies and there's more, intimacy , mystery and supernatural shyt goin on and bout the same on violence

Anybody peeped it?

Zombie mite have been a bad choice of words in the poll question. The Returned's dead aren't zombies yea but they are "back from the grave" and there are little things about them that let you know they're not entirely human either.

I compare them bcuz they're both based in a world where the dead come back, and the story revolves around each characters relationships

Its better more because of The Walking Dead's faults, which are numerous, like the character's actions making little to no sense. The Returned's character development - and writing, and music, and acting - are superior.

I agree with all this. And like I said I'm a fan of the walking dead but every since I seen this I'm like dam. Jus like you said the shyt just feels superior on alot of levels

The walking dead entertains me with the gore the kick assness the character development but the returned actually makes me go "wow that's kinda fukkin scary". Not one episode of walking dead made me say that. The music adds to the suspense too
