I've been checking James Corbett's videos out now for a few years. This guy is a true journalist. You can't watch his stuff and just dismiss it. This video doesn't really capture the depth of his research but it's a sentiment that's so on point I had to share. "Science" is being used against us, be careful what you consume.

the problem is when ppl will dismiss all facts showing one thing then accept the one thing that may or may not show something and then taking tht snippet and making headlines from it.
all that anti-vax shyt is a great example.

I watched this recently...it's interesting. I linked the video to the start of the point, but it really get's to the main heart of the issue around 23:38 when he's talking how research and the paper reviewing that goes on in certain circles.

I don't agree. Science is based on finding the truth and denying what is untrue using objective measures and ensuring that everything can be replicated by other scientists.

However, using the scientific method and believing in science is not the same as claiming science is the only thing that contains all the answers and that if science hasn't explained it, it just isn't right.

As for religion and science. I for one, would love to see politics taken out of science and religion taken out of politics.
