UBI makes a debut.

Automation gets heavily pushed.

Masks wearing will be standard. New technologies will be developed to keep hands clean. (UV light based)

I saw a video joking about this but I think handshakes are gonna fade out.

It depends on how many people die:francis:

if 2-4% of America die it’s a good chance things will change. Also we’re seeing telecommuting, and ubi going into fruitation. This whole thing looks like the NWO so if that is the case we aren’t going back this will be the norm
There are a lot of scary reasons why this isn’t the NWO

No one has mentioned wet market reform in China. That’s absolutely necessary. Hopefully we push less into the rainforest too. All types of viruses we haven’t dealt with before are in unencountered species’ the farther we push into uncharted physical territory

I think this is just the beginning tbh. I htink summer is going to come we will think all is good (i wont) people go back to their sloppy ways. fall comes covid pt 2 hits and we re doing this again. at that point we are either going to be arrogant humans and continue the status quo or we will see the phasing out of concentrated office buildings. more wfh. an industry or two dies or the big boys of it do. and im hoping we add a bit more caring policies to our govt(healthcare childcare better telecommunications).

with that said i dont trust the people to push for any of that. so prob back to busines as usual becuase we let those old white men in washington live within their comfort zone, we adjust to them unfortunately.

It depends on how long it lasts, how many people die, if there's a 'cure', if it becomes the new flu/ yearly occurrence.

If it's just this year society will go back to it's old ways. Kobe's death had a worldwide impact (which is now minor compared to this) and you had people talking about how it will bring change in not just how media members interact/cover athletes but also how regular people interact over social media. Two weeks later and people were right back to shytting on each other, Kobe's family, etc.

Same thing with people who have near death experiences. Initially they are very grateful, believe they have a new lease on life and will do things differently. But two weeks to a month later they settle back into their previous routine :francis:

So if this blows over before Christmas you will have all these people that are talking about not shaking hands anymore bragging about how they eat ass:scust:

I think this is going to be a big one. With all the devices we use now (phones, tablets, ear buds) having to clean stuff by hand is annoying but necessary.

EDIT: also telework like everyone else is saying; companies are having to build out this infrastructure so I think you'll see more folks with the option to work from home.
