As an artist who respected the fukk out of his pen pre-ghostwriting exposal, I was hellllla disappointed finding out his pen was fraudulent :mjcry:

I still rocked out to the music but it wasnt the same, I felt bamboozled. Eventually, the more he kept bragging about being mob-like and the greatest rapper of all time, the MOAR corny it sounded and then Kenny put the nail in the coffin.

I never thought I’d not look forward to new Drizzy music.

Today I just enjoy his production, his ear still A1

I always kinda had my doubts about the super lyrical rap songs.....but the R&B ish where it really bother(s)ed me.

I wanted to believe breh was an obvious subpar non-singer, but balanced out by the fact he was able to write/sing his true experiences in a way that it was relatable.

The writing on the wall for Drayoncé was when The Weeknd stopped writing for him after Take Care and Nothing Was the Same being a major let down (plus Kendrick sonning him in the BET Cypher). Then you had IYRTITL being proven to have ghost writers. Seemed like Views was the one place he could have remained a pop rapper with "One Dance", "Feel no ways", and Controlla", and just stayed in that pop lane to keep making people dance and waving their hands.

True. The crazy part is allegedly, damn near all the R&B joints were fully ghostwritten by PND, Weeknd (Take Care), and the OVO sweatshop.

Pretty much all my favorite songs from the nikka were ghostwritten.

I was ready to swing on that nikka when I found out he allegedly didn’t write one of my absolute favorite joints

Y'all trippin. Drake's pen is up there w/ the best. He wrote Alicia Key's Unthinkable.

Drake actually made it to where he is by being a ghostwriter.
You don't know he wrote that... we're you in the studio :usure: everything with drakes name attached is in question
