I broke one of my front teeth in half once, basically exposing the nerve endings to atmosphere. Couldn't eat or drink and just breathing was painful. That cold air on those exposed nerves 
Yesyou got hit by a car?

I hurt myself a lot as a kid:
Girl punched me on playground when I was 9 and classes stabbed into the side of my head, a few centimeters from my eye. A lot of stitches.
Tried to hop a fence when I was 12 and food got caught in fence while the rest of mt kept going.
Cracked tooth twice, the second time I actually ate candy and then bit HARD into the nerve, I almost vomited and was dizzy for hours afterward.
Jumped and cut the top of my head open on the ceiling, blood everywhere. Agony.

First love of my life, and closest friend broke up with me. I was an absolute mess for a few months, managed to keep above a 3.0 that semester of college though.

i guess i have been lucky. i cant think of any physical pain that was really traumatizing to me.
