By Backlash 2003, it was already coming apart. Raw was basically ruined with that Cripple H/Nash stuff and Goldberg not going over at Summerslam. Blandy was lost....Batista was lost..they didn't want to get behind RVD politically still. Lesnar was kept on Smackdown because Cripple H wasn't allowed to go over him or look good against him whatsoever. Big Show was nothing in 2003 too...he was doing injury angle matches with Rey Mysterio. Poor Edge..little guy went down by Feb and was at his peak of in ring skill at that point.

Man and they still didn't do the big Rock vs. Shawn Michaels match. That feud could have been crazy.

edit: Goldberg vs. Austin either. That was a dream match back in the day, we used to always talk about wanting to see that in school. This was back when Goldberg had the streak in WCW and Austin was killing it in the WWF. They both were finally in the same company and we still didn't get the match! :upsetfavre:

Because SCSA was done by the time Berg debuted. SC;s last match was WM19. Berg debuted the night after.

It is weird though, I was watching Armageddon, I think it was, and they had Taker, Rock, Angle, Austin, Rikishi, and Trips all in the same match. I can't remember any recent main event with that same level of greatness. Maybe it was the nostalgia factor though, idk.
