Forza 4 is about all the graphics I need personally.

When yall boot up the lights in the house dim :merchant:

Plus a good gaming PC costs like 3-4x what a current system does, last I checked. Different strokes but that shyt is not for me, I have too many expensive hobbies as is :whoa:

:mjpls:
i spent 800 on my build and i dont pay for single player games and i dont have to pay twice to play online (ISP then MS or Sony) PCs come out cheaper :manny:

270x gang. :salute:

AMD 8320(it was $99 at Microcenter, had to :banderas:)
AMD R9 270x
8gb ram
Rosewill Challenger Case
120gb Samsung EVO SSD
1 tb Internal

Monitor is an old ASUS that still gets the job done(think they were the MLG standard monitors back in like 09). Build topped out around $720

Later on I copped a mechanical keyboard, cooler master evo 212, added a 2nd SSD (Kingston 256gb for like $90), and copped copped some thermal paste to re-apply to the CPU when I ditched the shytty AMD heatsink :camby: When I stop being lazy I'll prolly drop another TB in there. Got a 3tb external full of music hooked up to it too. Was my 1st time building so I wasn't trying to get too fancy, plan to try Intel build next.

The freedom from viruses :blessed:

The price :steviej:
The stability* :blessed:
The speed :blessed:
The massive library of free software :blessed:

And u can run Windows programs either through Wine or through a virtualization program like VirtualBox. Just make sure your RAM game is on point :demonic:

*It is pretty stable, but you have to be careful, especially with letting a laptop battery die, or putting a laptop to sleep with a VM running.

Games are the problem for me.

Linux become pointless to me after Windows 7 and Mountain Lion. During Vista/XP era it was a must.

It's still a clean system and great for customization.

My fault... prob too late now. Just go on the website and make a boot CD or USB drive. From there its self explanatory.

One big issue................................................................................. they stopped updating Flash for Linux. So u have to turn off FF updates, which is a PITA, or u have to run Chrome, which doesnt work with a lot of websites

I have some kind of workaround now, but that shyt is a serious problem brehs. Im still not coming back tho

I just don't see the point in Linux for traditional desktop use right now.

Windows is doing just fine and Apple does their thing...both of those operating systems sync multiple devices much better than Linux does.

Owning an iPhone with linux is an absolute nightmare if you ever need to connect to your pc while running linux.
