Was expecting some self made story. Congrats to her parents.

Good for her. She had parents who bought income producing assets, instead of Cadillacs and other nikka shyt.

Just shows you the importance of putting your money to work for you.

This is an ignorant statement on your part, not only that it’s factually incorrect because if you follow her on social media you would realize her father does have a Cadillac. Check her instagram stories.

Well he owns 6 McDonald's franchises, of course he's gonna drive a Nice car.

I could be wrong, but I'm willing to bet that he wasn't spending crazy money before he had all those businesses.

You are correct to say, my clarification of that is that I would assume, as I did, that many people aren't going to find what they think that they are going to find here. We are thinking self-made, for all I know, they could have given her her own McDonald's between when they got their first one and now. In either event, it was given, not earned. Most people will think that she came up on her own to get it, it takes away from the shine a bit to see how she 'acquired' it. That's all.

That said, it's a great story and would love to be able to bequeath something like this to my kids as well. #Goals.

:comeon:

It doesn’t take away any shine at all.

Being self made is overrated and most of the time not true at all.

There’s always a group of people behind every success story, it’s up to that individual to acknowledge them.

If anything it adds MORE shine because her parents busted their ass so their daughter wouldn’t have to work as hard to get hers.

That how shyt is supposed to be.

Plus she still had to go through all the training, and became one of the top managers in the world before she owned her establishment.
