1# Because the dude that Gucci whacked was NEVER a BMF affiliate to begin with....simply a cat aligned with the CTE camp

2# The homie whom signed Gucci early in his career before he even got with Big Cat and So Icey was a good friend of Meech and also had a Crip artist under his wing who was a BMF affiliate
as well as a sort of a mentor to Gucci Mane.

3# This same Crip Artist had a relationship with Jeezy and along with Coach K "encouraged" Jeezy to do the "So Icey" record, even though Jeezy wasn't feeling it.

in laymens term...The BOSSES had no beef...so the Jeezy/Gucci beef was of no concern to them...

I could've sworn dude was affiliated with the camp, which is why Gucci had problems with BMF after it went down

I could be wrong, thats why I asked you

nah..that's what the Prosecution was trying to imply , as well as the media such as Mara Shaloup who authored that BMF book...

it seemed sensational and entertaining to validate BMF as a group of "hit men" and "extortionists" which was FAR FROM THE TRUTH....

Meech as well as BMF could care less about a rap beef with Gucci considering Gucci's original camp had an OG who had many mutual friends in the BMF camp....

This beef wasn't no street shyt, simply some industry politics instigated by Def Jam.....of whom Jeezy is signed to.

Also at the same time this so-called "beef" was going on, Gucci had done a few collabos with BMF artists such as Baby D.

so basically just like the "ROSS RECORD" not EVERYBODY in the BMF camp shared the same views....

i recall meeting and interviewing that "crip artist" who had ties to both Jeezy and Gucci and he said himself....that they felt Meech was being "naive" about Jeezy , whom was basically "exploiting" this issue with Gucci in order to validate street cred and his affiliation with the "mob" (bmf)

What happened is that Jeezy and Gucci pulled the "rap card" and tried to make it validated beef, when it wasn't :whoa:

Based on Jeezy making statements like "you don't want the streets involed , i'll make one phone call and get Meech involved".....

:comeon:

You think following the Wolf murder accusations that Meech would even try to get involved in some "rap beef" considering what little benifit it would have for him or the family?? :bryan:

and as far as Gucci , he is just as guilty, because at that time HE FELL OUT WITH THAT "OG" who was cool with MEECH, once he LEFT the OG's camp abruptly and jumped ship to BIG CAT'S crew.......

so of course Gucci would feel somewhat "paronoid" thinking that Meech and co. might have something to do with the attempt on his life, especially when you got prosecuters whom were more concerned about BMF's involvment as opposed to whom really tried to KILL gucci whom had no affiliation at all.

Now that Gucci is back in the "good graces" of that OG , it allowed things like Meech to appear on Gucci's tape with no conflict whatsoever...

all that was needed for was the BOSSES to clear the air, that the rappers had convuluted with thier desires for fame and noterity.

@The HONORABLE SKJ why don't you ever speak on William Roberts career as corrections officer & his music career early on...

I feel like allot of nikkas on the forum have the wrong idea about him. Its no secret that Roberts had been in the rap game since the late 90s and got that job after his deal with Draper fell through...

speak on that.. and does Ted really own Ross's publishing for 5 albums?

:manny: because i don't find it THAT offensive considering EVERY GANGSTA RAPPER of this contemporary era has commited some sense of FRAUD on record.

At the end of the day as i said on many occasions ...HE'S AN ENTERTAINER.....so who is the BIGGER CLOWN the C.O imagining himself as a COKE DON on RECORDS??..or the LISTENER who FEELS AS IF HE OR SHE HAS BEEN MISLED because that ARTIST isn't really WHAT THEY CLAIM TO BE ON RECORDS??? :umad:

I learned long time ago once i started managing acts and seeing "deals" evolve first hand , that these first person dramatizations are simply that DRAMAtizations....in laymens term..."just enjoy the music mane" :obama:

sorry to sound so "insensitive" but as long as the beat knocks and the hook is catchy and the punchlines and stories is on point..I gives a fukk how much bricks an artist CLAIMS to move........i'm just being entertained.....by no means am i trying to find a "connect" or make a "play" on some work. :comeon:

as for Ted owning Ross's publishing..it MAKES SENSE ...considering how DEF JAM tried to fukk Ted Lucas over with the cheap a$$ budget they were giving him, Lucas been tired of the Majors, when he had TRINA and TRICK DADDY over at ATLANTIC...he constantly had to fight with them mofos over them treating him like some stepchild , as they do most "southern imprints" i.e (rap a lot, suave) in the majors i.e

The Majors based in NYC , with a majority of thier a&rs and label heads being east coast biased, they made cats like Ted come out thier own pockets and work even harder than the northern imprints simply because they were intimidated by the Southerners ingenuity and Self reliance and simply because they DIDN'T WANT cats like Ted Lucas to "WIN" because these guys wouldn't be ENSLAVED to these DEBT DEALS that the majors offered.

Ted knew eventually that if had a marquee act like Rick Ross that the big guys like Def Jam would "take him off of his hands" and put him into thier MACHINE...

so TED being the SMART BUSINESSMAN he's always been HAD PAPERS ON DAT NICCA ROSS!!!..... :umad:

Which is why Ross is still kinda salty because he thought he could ditch Ted like he did Draper , and like most artist do imprints and just jump ship to the majors and EAT with no obligations to the people that put him on....

But Ted wasn't having it.............and for that I :salute: him

cause NICCAS ain't got no loyalty....

they are "rapping prostitutes they jump from CLIQue to CLIQue (dikk to dikk)"

so the real question is WHY SHOULDN'T TED LUCAS be able to EAT OFF OF ROSS considering it was HIM that allowed RICK ROSS to even be on the DEF JAM radar based on Lucas's track record and connections in the industry....

Church my nikka...

"They're all actors
Lookin at themselves in the mirror backwards
Can't even face themselves, don't fear no rappers
They're all weirdos, DeNiros in practice
So don't believe everything your earlobe captures;
It's mostly backwards
Unless it happens to be as accurate as me
And everything said in song you happen to see
Then, actually, believe half of what you see
None of what you hear, even if it's spat by me
And with that said, I will kill nikkas dead
Cut nikkas short, give you wheels for legs
I'm a K-I-double-L-E-R
See y'all in Hell, shoot nikkas straight through the E.R
Whoa! This ain't B.R., no
This S.C. CEO, the next Lyor, no
The next leader of the whole free world
And the first thing I'mma do is free Sigel, go"
