As I said in a thread yesterday:

“I’m sorry, but any “locs” after a while start to fukkin stink. I sleep with a loc head woman every night and I’ll just throw in there that I’ve “laid” with a few others and they can use whatever shampoo/dry shampoo they want but it’s still matted hair that can’t be properly washed. Hell, I can smell my braids if I don’t take them out and wash my hair every couple weeks.”

I’ve never noticed any smells with my locs. In addition to getting washed and conditioned every time it gets retwisted, i use dry shampoo weekly, since I work out. no one has ever said anything about them stinking, but if they do oh well. I’m sure weaves stink more.

I didn’t mean any disrespect. I was just speaking from what I’ve experienced. If you’re attractive, believe me, no man is gonna say “your hair stinks “. And yes, weave stinks after a while if not taken out and redone or whatever.
