Near the end of the game it'll be revealed The Joker's actually alive and he's the mastermind behind everything because Rocksteady can't be bothered to write a story that doesn't include him.

My bet is that it is a totally new character. I doubt they'll hype up the character as a NEW archrival and then reveal to be just another nemesis of Bats we already knew. I just hope it's not some cyborg shyt.
