I was talking to this snowball/snowcone stand owner about starting a business and he told how much he was making and my jaw dropped (no home). He initially had a clothing store, but he was making so much from the snowball stand he let the store go. The stand is open pretty much all year round because it doesn't stay cold here long. He works there alone most days. like 10hrs a day. He keeps a long line. Do the math bruhs.
Personally I'm done working for CACs. i'm working on get my supplies, licensing and permits to open a food stand myself. Selling Poboys and other foods.
In essence this dude is making more than anyone I've knew working in IT in DC for 10 years.
It's money out here outside of working for other people.
The TAX breaks are amazing. i'm not talking income tax if you know what I mean. Then he pays a lil cute chick from the college to help him sometime. Give her 10$ an hour and she's VERY happy and grateful.
