I'm talking QB's who are 30+ in age & go from team to team every year, or every other year and are simply career backups at best. Jordan Palmer, Bruce Gradkowski, Dan Orlovsky, several others. You know these guys are NOT starter material outside of a long-term injury to the starter, and if you as a fan see them playing, you know your team's in trouble.
But if a Black qb isn't starter material, they don't seem to last very long in the league otherwise. A guy like Jason Campbell might be an exception, but some teams still think he can potentially start. Terrelle Pryor can't even stick with teams during the offeason OTA's now, and he was just starting a couple years ago. Charlie Batch did it for a long time, but he was actually very serviceable and won games when thrown in to start.
