There Is a “50/50 Chance” of Seeing a New Legacy of Kain from Crystal Dynamics
Crystal Dynamics may be mostly known for their work on theTomb Raider franchise, and that’s what they are doing from 2006. However, older people know that the studio has a number of IPs with great potential.

One of those IPs is Legacy of Kain, an action-adventure game that saw its last game in 2003. Although, there is a new free-to-play online title called Nosgoth, which ties in with Legacy of Kain’s universe.Senior Designer Michael Brinker was asked on whether we’ll see a new single player game releasing this generation.

“It’s a 50/50 chance. We have in-house developers who really want to make that game. It’s interesting because people look back at our history and our franchises and see that we have some really great iconic IPs. So gamers wonder; ‘where are they and what are they doing?’ Well we’re always tossing around and talking about ideas [of bringing them back]. It really is 50/50.”

I personally haven’t played Legacy of Kain, but I always heard how good it was and I would love to get the chance to try it out this generation.
