Any Haitian reading this will tell you that President Aristide was pushing for reparations from France in the 1990s.

They will also tell you that it was 10% sincere effort on his part, and 90% meant to manipulate the public and distract them from his poor performance as a leader and he failure of his policies.

None of these "ideas" or "movements" are new......except to people who don't read newspapers and books.

The U.S government also owes the Haitian Government for the Gold the U.S military stole from Haiti's National Bank reserve in 1914.

Indeed. The U.S. occupation of countries the past 100 years was mostly about pillaging the treasuries/resources.
