There is literally nobody out there to take the mantle from Lebron.

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
Lebron is on the downside of this prime years. He's still in his prime but he's past the pinnacle. When Jordan Retired, Kobe was there to pick up the torch. You still had Shaq, Duncan, Garnett, and a few others, who were superstars able to carry he league.

Mind you there is a difference between all star and super star. Superstar would be top 3 or 5 status with one alpha male player. Everyone else is just filler all stars. Curry could be that guy but who are the others? Because of NBA salaries, you don't even have to be an all star to get paid. So what's the motivation. Nobody really has the killer instinct, like Kobe or the pressure Lebron had. Maybe Anthony Davis IF the Pelicans can put a team around him. The NBA as a whole is lacking legit superstars. Too many Sharif Abdur-Rahim types. Empty stats. I don't even consider Durant or Westbrook on that level because they haven't been to enough finals (but they have a chance to change that.)

There's still time but the NBA is basically relying on one and done players who have rarely panned out.

There's a guy coming off an mvp season, a championship (in which his squad beat Lebron's), and a 24 game winning streak thats averaging 32-6-5 on 50 from the field and 45 from 3

the mantle been took :dame:

and act like Durant, Westbrook, Paul George, Kawhii, Harden, Cousins and Anthony Davis dont exist. Give them time to build. Only nikka you referenced that won chips out the gate was Duncan.
