Well yes. If blacks had generational wealth, we'd be in a very different place. Yall remember back in the late 90s early 2000s, in the rap game nikkaz would blow up and then put their nikkaz on? Then those nikkaz would come out with albums and start labels? That is basically what white people do but in all areas. Banks, Insurance companies, auto manufacturers, Accounting firms, etc....it's all money getting passed down and people looking out for hteir own. Black people simply don't have that head start for obious reasons. It's funny to me how folk never point that out though.

American culture is about consumerism. I'm not surprised really that whites spend at the same rate as blacks. I think the critical point though is that they have more money to begin with. 10% savings of 80k >>>>> 10% of 25k or whatever the numbers are
