Facts. I especially love giving to people who don't beg for shyt. Since i've stopped driving, a couple of times while walking I would see a guy holding a sign. I typically slide him a five spot and hold a conversation with the man for a bit. I love giving, just wish I wasn't so poor to start with so I could do it more.

If making someone else happy doesn't make you happy you're unlikely to make any attempt to make another person happy. And if making another person unhappy makes you happy, then that's what you'll do. Humans act in their own self-interest--even when they don't think they are.

I found in my travels that the greatest joys i've had is when someone does
something for me because they appreciated something i've done for them.

I always do things for other people and I expect nothing in return. It feels
good when people appreciate what you do.
