There is no reason for any person on earth to have more than that. Once you cap, you gave to quit your job. The world would be better place.
I had this thought too...but at the same time I feel like if you worked for your money you deserve to have it
I don't think Athletes should be getting paid as much as they do tho. Football is a grueling sport, so their pay is somewhat justified. But 16-17 mil a year to play basketball/baseball![]()
Nah brah. That would encourage an even shyttier version of how we live now. People would form partnerships to have a revolving door system of hitting different high level jobs to make money anyway. Also, capping wages and time spent on the job means throwing out people amazing at their jobs arbitrarily. It isn't a realistic solution.
Anyone that says this, then also says athletes are overpaid, know nothing about economics or business
What you are doing is expecting an economic system will be in line with human tendencies. We always have and always will do each other dirty. Some people want more than others and a flimsy system like you suggest won't stop them.Encourage shyttyness how? More people would be able to elevate their living standard and there wouldn't be some few invidividuals who could out spend a million people. Revolving door? What makes you think people still wouldn't amaze just because they can't become bill gates?
You know how fast a nikka can spend 3 million?
Plus society would become more corrupt cause even more people would turn to illegal practises or the gov't(reduntant) for extra change, and we'd be told even more lies to maintain the illusion

Around $2 700 000 if you work until you die. If you retire at 65 then around $2 025 000. These amounts don't include possible debt and inheritance from friends, family etc. and these amounts assume you spend every penny you make.
