Millenials born in the 1980s are people who were in high school in the early -mid 90s to early 2000s
Millenials born in the 1990s are people who were in high school from the mid 2000s to early and mid 2010s

The biggest difference is you had more black teachers in the 80s and 90s. Especially if you lived in a nice sized city. In the 00s white teachers started infiltrating the schools where the students were predominantly black.

i think social media and the internet is the dividing line
my brother was born in 1984 and never had social media in high school while I had Myspace and AOL instant messenger. Using the internet heavier makes it easier to relate to Gen Z's.
Ciara is only 4 years older than me but she feels like a Gen Xer to me for some reason.
