My backlog is too big and there are other games getting ready to drop that id rather play. shyt I got games I haven't even opened yet. Games I still need to install on my PC. Not to mention books n shyt that take up my spare time. Zelda will still be fun a year from now.

If Mario is scheduled to come out this year might as hell released it with Zelda to show they ain't playing. Zelda is my top 3 franchise, but it's not even in the same league as Mario. Having Mario at launch would prolly even make the biggest Nintendo hater lie and say they buying a switch for their "kid".

I'm a Zelda fan so that's really the only reason I would want one at the moment. Outside of that I see almost no games I'm interested in. I really don't think it will be worth it until the end of the year at best.

True point on the PS4, I have no intention of ever buying a XB1. The difference between getting the Switch today or in the fall all comes down to if you think you'll actually play it. If I get it today I know for a fact it'll most likely collect dust cause most of the games that will come out soon are just ports of games I already own on the Wii U so it makes no sense. Even the best game available now I already got on the Wii U.

I'll buy it when I know I'll have games to play on it. I'm not trying to knock any of you that got it but to me it's not worth it at the moment.

either way if you get it today or get it in the fall you still get it. That's why I got mine at launch because I was gonna get it anyway. Now if I want to I can take Zelda on the go. I'll probably trade in my Wii U Mario Kart and get the Switch version in May or whenever it comes out.

The bottom line is this. The Switch is a Nintendo console so there's gonna be long bouts of software droughts so it at some point it gonna collect dust anyway.

Fire Emblem was already announced for 2018. As well as Project Octopath Traveler (stupid name but it's Square Enix), Shin Megami Tensei V and Xenoblade Chronicles 2. This is gonna be a JRPG machine.

I know about the new FE but there's very little information on it. It could be a mainline game or a spinoff like that one on the Wii.

Project Octopath looks terrible but I might give it a chance.

Don't care for SMT.

Xenoblade isn't really my thing. shyt puts me to sleep.

I'm waiting until June when Mario Kart drops to cop a Switch. For now I'm preoccupied with PS4 and will be even more so once Injustice 2 comes out.

The Switch will not drop in price for a long while.

Remember, even with how bad the Wii U bombed the price remained consistent no matter what. Nintendo if anything else is extremely stubborn and won't move price no matter what.

Plus, what we have seen with Nintendo is that they will likely start pushing their best Wii U games over to the switch. It just makes perfect sense for them to do so because they dropped some gems on there that got overlooked because the console never caught on.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is dropping next month

I am assuming that Donkey Kong Game and clearly Mario Maker will make the jump....it has to. That is a CLASSIC game that will be INCREDIBLE if it's a full featured release on a mobile platform. My friend ALMOST bought a 3DS before he found out it was a gimped version of that game.

I am not trying to justify anything. I didn't even pay for the switch, but the potential is there and it's first year will be better than ANY of the Wii U with Zelda, Mario Kart and Super Mario alone.

Hell, I am giddy at the fact that I can buy NBA 2K and play it on a handheld device if it's handled properly. It's been way too long for a great basketball game on a handheld.

Wii U ISN'T Portable. You can't take the gamepad further than your living room before it loses sync with the console. And some games you can't even play directly on the gamepad.
