It's too early to say whether Connor McDavid is going to be the next big superstar.
Some dudes fizzle out and become run-of-the-mill players. I'm not saying he sucks. There are a couple factors that can help him succeed, like being surrounded by good players, a good coach, good goaltenders, etc. People are making him out to be a non-late bloomer, which might stiffle his growth. I mean, look what happened to Ryan Nugent-Hopkins.... he was first round pick... Now, it "seems" like they are stacked on offense.
