No... they actually are talking about Jews. At least the original meaning was.

Did you know the word slave is derived from Slavic people's (Russians and eastern Europeans)?

They were taken as slaves in such large amounts that this word was designated to them.

You have to remember that race is a recent phenomenon and that before this, everyone would discriminate based on things such s region, religious affiliatios, etc... not just the color of ones skin.

Yeah...and people didn't use that colloquially until fairly recently - long after the Jews were confined to Warsaw.

As a matter of fact, that SNL sketch they used wasn't talking about stuff Jewish people did/do.

Everyone knows that Ghetto ORIGINATED as a label for Jewish enclaves, but that's not how it's used in modern times. :comeon:
