As a black person, saying that joke in a public arena is not a good look. it will conjure up images of whites owning ur ancestors.

Imagine a man goes around joking about how all his previous girlfriends dumped him. He might even be funny in how he jokes about it. But what image is he conveying to potential mates who are watching him? Undesirable?
Or imagine getting beat up by a guy. Then u run into the same guy while out with ur girl. U joke and say to your girl âthatâs guy who beat me upâ. What image do u think your girl would have on her mind? You in a subservient position being dominated.
Might not seem like a big deal to some of yâall. But your enemy in this battle of life has mastered the art of observation and portrayal. When they keep showing or green lighting slave movies, theyâre engraving into the minds of millions a status im sure youâd prefer not to have attributed to u.
Therefore, let the words of your mouth and the deeds of your hands convey a message of strength. At all times.
