They're really the only ones unanimously in his corner right now. The ones pulling receipts on celebs and even contradicting themselves on so called 'toxic masculinity' to defend him.

You got white people unsurprisingly doing what they do best and punching down or using the incident to covertly be racist. Even fellow colleagues who he thought he was cordial with have swiftly thrown his ass under the bus.

Even black men's reaction has been mixed. There's nikkas who think he was in the right & just defending his wife and then others who think he's a cuck/simp for the stunt he pulled or the ones who think he "set black people back" because he reinforced the black men are violent/ghetto stereotype which directly affects their relationship with their white women, friends, coworkers, strangers etc

The blowback could've been 10x worse right now.

I do notice brehettes going off in social media to anyone (celeb or otherwise) who even thinks to criticize Will smith. They pulling out receipts, jokes, the whole nine. I do support Will for what he did, which I said the other day. And every bw I’ve talked to support him too.

A lot of of us don’t like Chris Rock (he’s just not funny anyway) and bw (like any woman) will support a man who loves her enough to defend her honor even if it is seen as toxic by others. This could even be an example of the “protection” brehettes talk about.

But really I think brehettes just like seeing a bm go in like that for a bw he loves.

A lot of bw complain about not feeling valued, supported or put on pedestals by Brehs enough, so when one does it especially the way will did it (in public where everyone can see it) it creates this sense of pride.

It’s funny how you see the formula to getting loyalty and support from brehettes and yet other Brehs don’t/won’t care. He’ll be called a simp, stupid, etc. it’s a strange disconnect that I notice in our community, where Brehs and brehettes don’t seem to really understand what each other really wants from the other/or aren’t willing to do it. As for them, they’ve been married 20 some odd years throughout the storm of these past few years, and crazy enough, people will try to impose divorce FOR them as if they really know the ins and outs.

Yep most sistas I know including my wife think that was stupid as shyt and actually think Will an idiot. My wife's friend (a sista) who has a son was like that is one of the dumbest things for a man could do because in the real world he will possibly get killed or harmed. She would know since she lost her male cousin over some street shyt that started with a fist fight and ended with her cousin getting shot. Even though kats could have walked away instead.

So no outside the internet many black women at least the ones I know age 30 plus think that was some dumb shyt. But also most the black women I know are educated and are married or in long term relationships with a man. So they not dumb and understand their man doing that silly shyt can have them burying her man (and herself) or worse her son doing that dumb shyt can have her burying her son.
