but never saw it in real life. Its funny but my only real refrence of this is from GTA4's online dating system. They had a knockoff aol dating thing embedded into the plot and from what i could gather, women werent fake; they were just crazy

This sums up a lot of the current gen. This is what happens when you are glued to your phones 20hrs a day, 0 social skills. I was talking to a lady at the bar of a restaurant one time, casual convo because we were sitting near each other, she told me her teenage son had to make a doctors appt. He had to write down what he was gonna say cause his conversation and social skills sucks.

Regardless of whether it was a joke or not as a human being you want to put your best foot forward, and joking like that to a stranger is not the way to represent who you are. I think excusing this as a joke or telling the guy to fire back is just another example of putting a woman on a pedestal.
