I think Microsoft was killing Skype to replace it with Teams.

at the very least regular Skype ain’t popping but Skype for business still gets regular play

Skype was always kinda meh though.


Teams is kind of taking over for skype, sucks for me because I really am a teams noob.


Zoom seems to be pretty popular, but these messaging services (video capable as well) seem to rotate out like ever 8 years.

I used zoom for the first time a few days ago. I really wasn't that impressed. We did a family meet up and took like like 30 min just to get everyone on the same page with all the audio and video kinks. Im talking about older family members involved.

That type of tech could very easily be destroyed with a much better designed app.

Zoom is vastly superior to skype feature and stability wise.
