Most likely, if there were tapes, Trump had them destroyed before he ran for president the first time.

The tape obviously exists, Omarosa already leaked conversations from Trump's top-level staffers where they discuss the tape and admit that it exists.

It hasn't been released because Mark Burnett owns it, and he's close to Trump and created much of Trump's public image. Burnett said publicly that he's not going to release any tapes from The Apprentice. Even if Trump didn't pay him off, he has to protect the image of his own brand. How would he look if it's revealed that his show's star was saying the N-word on the show with zero pushback?

My assumption is that once Trump started floating ideas about a presidential run in 2011, Burnett put any potentially incriminating tapes under lock and key, and only him or some lackey he trusts has any access to them at all.

Kwame Jackson, a black man on season one, said that Trump spoke derogatorily about him and made clear that he didn't want him to win.

Trump fired Kevin Allen, a Black man in season two, because he said Allen was "too educated" and "intimidating".

When Randal Pinkett was coming through as the first Black champion, Trump pushed for him to instead share the award with his white runner-up. Pinkett is on the record saying that Trump is a racist.

Omarosa has gone on the record saying that Trump is a racist as well, and secretly taped other Trump aids talking about the N-word tape to prove that the tape exists.

Before Season 3, Trump pitched the idea of doing an entire White vs. Black season. He said, "Whether people like that idea or not, it is somewhat reflective of our very vicious world.” If his co-producers on the show hadn't shot the idea down, he would have gotten to act out his own little race war on TV.



Claiming "but he hired a black person on the show" as evidence he's not racist is ridiculous. Trump was prosecuted for segregating Black folk out of all of his good apartments, was sued for not hiring Black workers at his Gary casino, and is one record talking racist about his black employees and saying he couldn't stand to see a black man working as an accountant.

What have you seen over the last 8 years that suggests this is going to convince people to change whatever position they already hold on Trump lol. This dude made fun of veterans, made fun of disabled people, bragged about assaulting women, got exposed for cheating with a porn star, and his supporters stayed firm. I used to think the only thing that would harm him was evidence that he told a mistress to get an abortion but now? Nah that wouldn't do it either. He's a near biblical figure of retribution at this point, in the minds of his supporters. This is god's will and no matter what they will defend him.
