I was at Central from 99-03. I remember my homey throwing a talent show sophomore year that I was helping him put together and I think that was one of the first appearances right after they formed the group. I had met 9th at Duke's radio station before that and saw Tay in a few battles around Durham but that talent show was when I saw all 3 together for the first time.
I remember 9th's epic story about Jay-z Literally a week after he produced Threats. We huddled around him at Duke's station on some groupie ish

Such a dope album. The Minstrel Show is one of my favorite albums of all time. The Listening is a classic for sure though.
