Houston to LA like I'm Robert Horry.
Y'all notice that? Peyton Manning used to be the most rode on professional athlete outside of maybe LeBron in the U.S. especially on ESPN and NFL Network.

They saw this dude's decline at the end of the season and did a

Broncos were still a playoff team last year and pretty good, and apparently he's healthy but they have completely jumped off the ship of this guy. First the Seahawks superbowl debacle now throwing balls into the dirt five yards in front of the receiver :mjlol:

They used to hype up the Brady v. Manning debate and the matchups every year. Now it's just Brady v. Montana. How the mighty have fallen. Even :upsetfavre:was still media relevant. :yeshrug:

But if they were going overboard with Peyton coverage then it would be "get off his dikk" :mjlol:. The ways that people manage to spin and twist things based on who they like/don't like never ceases to amaze me :mjlol:.

Don't get me wrong. I have no problem with the lack of Peyton coverage, I'm just in awe of how fast they dropped off from talking about him. It wasn't a progressive drop, shyt crashed like the stock makret. :mjlol:

Kinda like his performance last year. I mean did you see that playoff game :scust:. But don't worry you will have plenty to be angry about when he comes out on some 15 TD-2 INT type shyt and they herald him for his return to form at an advanced age.

I think it's going to be a rough season for him. This coming from a Broncos fan.

During the preseason of the Texans game, he dropped back...

the rush pushes him up into the pocket...

he has all the room to step up a few yards and set his feet...

he gains momentum and steps HARD into his throw...

the ball takes forever to go 10 yards and the defender dives to make a deflection. It was a nice play by the defender but it was made clear to me with that one throw that its going to be a lot of 4-7 yard passes this year. Run, run, pass.

Prove me wrong Sheriff. Prove me wrong.

They'll be OK. He personally might see his numbers fall off, but the defense is legit. As long as they can run the ball effectively they should get to 10-11 wins

I agree. Our D is going to be NASTY.

It's just rough to see him deteriorate over the last 4 years. He's got one more run in him.

Peyton was a beast before the arm trouble though during his Indy days.

I remember dude was airing it out ~70 yards, even though it was indoor that still says something.

Don't care how great you can read defenses, you're throwing against world class athetes. If that ball has nothing behind it it's an easy play for defenders.

Even if your WR beats the corner, if that ball can't go far quick enough, the defender doesn't have to gain much ground on the WR to make a play on the ball.

They're going to have to rely on the YAC from WRs.
