Word, I was thinking the same thing. That funk style of "Breakdown" was so mid 92/mid 93ish that by the time that song hit towards the end of 94 that sound was old. It sounded like something Redman would have done on his first album when he was doing something different around the same time with his 2nd album.

Loved the group when I was a kid.

But in just being honest, they weren't built for longevity. They were perfect for the early 90's though. The energy and fun vibe was right on time, back then. But Chip-Fu was the only one in the group we could see doing some things later. And even he dropped the ball with that, which he admits.

They had a nice amount of classic singles though. I used to play their records all day!

This interview definitely illustrates the different levels of being a man and maturity.

Chip is up there trying to go over events that took place, and as usual on this podcast, there's always some old loser bum who still has the mind of a 14 year old saying out of pocket sh*t that annoys the guest. This is what happened when AZ was up there a couple years ago. And that's why this podcast has been trash for years.

If you're a grown man speaking on events that changed your life and career, and have a couple of dudes your age speaking foolishly and trying to be funny at the same time you're going over what happened, it just shows that ain't no cure for these dumb n*ggas. This show is still on life support.
