They gonna do John Harbaugh like they do Mike Tomlin right?

His timeout usage was certainly questionable tonight. I'm also not sure why he OK'd going for two when they could have been down 1 with the XP, it helped sap some of their momentum...

He's won more games more recently than Tomlin though, and in losses his team has looked more competitive...

Tomlin does more with less and they're calling for his head. At some point they're just spinning their wheels and failing to meet expectations. The team is expected to win a Super Bowl and they don't even make it that far.

One has a 2x MVP (likely 3x in a few weeks) under center, the other has been rotating car salesmen and coli brehs since Big Ben got flabby.

Harb was sitting on a 26-31 stretch 2015-2018 before he gave the keys to Lamar mid-season as a rookie.

I'm ahead of the game.:wow:.

John Harbaugh is just not a top tier coach.

I don't think Harbaugh is in the top tier of coaches, and it often shows.

Only team I really believe has a chance in the AFC to take them out are the Bills, and that is because Josh Allen is playing some of the best football I've ever seen a QB play.

I would say the Ravens, but I never trust Harbaugh.

It's been like that for years with the Ravens. They have these spastic moments and Harbaugh is really not a great coach.

That was a horrible play from Lamar though.

I don't think there's any team I can point to right now where I say, "Wow, that team has it all and it's impossible to bet against them".

NFC:

-The Lions have been riddled with injuries.
-I don't think Hurts is a great QB and if that running game gets slowed down at all, I'm not sure Hurts can take over.
-The Vikings have looked very good, but can Darnold get it done when the lights are bright, or will he see ghosts?

AFC:

-The Bills don't have any real stud weapons on offense, and they have been banged up a bit as well. But, we know Allen can take over on his own.
-Don't trust the Steelers at all.
-Houston has looked like they took a step back, but those are the type of teams that can surprise come playoff time.
-Do the Broncos have enough offensively to win when it matters?
-Lamar and Henry are my two favorite players, but I've seen the Ravens flop year after year when it matters. I can see the OC and Harbaugh costing Baltimore a chance.

I didn't list every team, but I think those are the ones that are the contenders other than the Chiefs who as I've said all year, I'll take until proven otherwise. I feel like Mahomes will finally turn it up a notch and his weapons will turn into prime versions of themselves in the playoffs. I can also see a scenario where the Bengals get in and cause some issues.

The Ravens have had the better roster, better QB, and at least twice they have been the #1 seed. They’d BETTER be competitive.

This entire board is the result of watching first take and a bunch of them stupid ass shows 5 days a week . Constantly stuck on stupid looking to talk about who chokes and who needs to be fired after every single game.

Since Ben retired Steelers have won 6 of 9 vs the RatBirds. Kinda sad considering who’s been under center

I think what the original poster is implying is that Mike Tomlin gets a lot of flack for underachieving despite the fact that his roster, particularly the most important position is clearly less effective and less talented than Baltimore's.

He's living off Flacco catching fire (beating Manning and Brady) from 11 years ago

I think had he not gotten Lamar he would have been fired after that 2018 season. They weren't going to make the playoffs with Flacco. They got fortunate that Ozzie drafted Lamar.

Tomlin needs that fortune
