I worked with a guy who did this at a bar. Hadn't gotten a number in months. His married buddy told him to wear his ring and guess what? Three numbers that night.

I tried the same with another friend in Vegas. Bought a little cheap ring and there was no question that he got more attention when he wore it. Hate to say it but it was the black women who seemed to notice the most.
