:ohhh:

MLS is doing that well?

That isn't really a measure of doing well. This team basically existed when the old 2nd team that started in 2005 got contracted in 2014 and became an "expansion team" that reappeared today.
NFL was doing just fine for years without LA presence for decades.

I love the simplicity of their logo and their colorway. I don't usually rock with Adidas, but I might cop some of their gear for the gym.

Galaxy fans are in fits cause of LAFC:pachaha:They had it easy with the incompetence of that bullsh*t Chivas USA nightmare of a franchise. Now they have to actually put in work to keep eyes on their team in the LA area.

yeah LAFC has a good thing going. New stadium, clean logo, clean colors, nice unis. I think they'll end up more popular than the Galaxy in 5 years

Five years??? This is up for debate right now:gucci:And they just didn't get a new stadium, they got a stadium smack dab in the heart of the city next door to the LA Coliseum, down the street from Staples and Dodger stadium. The Galaxy play deep in the sticks deep in the bowels of Carson. The Galaxy were always corporate. LAFC marketing and appeal is actually connecting to the people and the city

What about them not having a true TV deal and being locally available on youtubetv?

i was just trying to be conservative because Galaxy been here for so long and have had great success. But you're right LAFC is off to a great start and are in prime position. It's a wrap for the Galaxy they headed for Clippers status :russ:

Streaming is the future though isn't it? Plus almost half their games are on national TV this year (most in the MLS), and they got a deal with Univision which is good

The Traps of Unified Korea
LAFC is a doomsday for the Galaxy. These last few expansions (Orlando, Atlanta, LA FC) have shown three different ways to kill it out the gate with an expansion in the MLS and all three are instantly amongst the best supported teams in the league. The older MLS franchises stuck out in suburbia are understandably salty.

LA Galaxy probably did more than any one franchise in building awareness for the MLS worldwide and LAFC is one star player away from turning them into the Jets permanently.

It seems like new stadiums are going up every year and the Comissioner wants to add like 7 more franchises too.
