It seems like new stadiums are going up every year and the Comissioner wants to add like 7 more franchises too.

There's too many teams in the MLS. At some point they have to implement promotion/relegation or split the league and have a MLS East/MLS West

LAFC is a doomsday for the Galaxy. These last few expansions (Orlando, Atlanta, LA FC) have shown three different ways to kill it out the gate with an expansion in the MLS and all three are instantly amongst the best supported teams in the league. The older MLS franchises stuck out in suburbia are understandably salty.

LA Galaxy probably did more than any one franchise in building awareness for the MLS worldwide and LAFC is one star player away from turning them into the Jets permanently.

Don’t forget NYCFC. We’re just waiting for a permanent stadium to entrench ourselves but finding space and money is an issue here

There is a lot of suspicion on just how rapidly MLS is expanding, the buy-in $ for a MLS franchise.....without any type of profits or ratings to validate it's expansion.

MLS is going to collapse. These franchises are all inorganic, calling your franchises 'FC' 'United' is step 1 in failing. Galaxy and Cosmos had the biggest impact and crossover because they were both trying to create American soccer clubs rather than an imitation of European clubs.
