Biggest lesson people need to learn is the braking distance some vehicles have (or don't have for that matter). Trucks leave a gap ahead so if they do need to slam on the brakes they can at least try to come to a stop...jumping ahead of them and slowing down just shortens that and makes for a potentially fukked up situation You're not going to win vs. 80,000 lbs.
