It hurts to say this but something is up with this team and I'm not sure there is even a "basketball" fix for it...

Dwight, Baze, and Dennis seem to be on different pages out there.

1. Dwight only job should be to keep Drummond out the paint and rebound. No passes should be going into the paint to Dwight unless there is a lob opportunity (ala Deandre Jordan). And Dwight looks like he’s half-assing it on the defensive end.

2. Baze is playing wayyy outside of his role and ability. I don’t know who gave him the greenlight to do what he is doing but he is giving one hell of a Josh Smith impression right now.

3. Dennis don’t look like he trust anyone on the team to make a shot and he and Dwight is not on the same page.

This right here and it has destroyed team chemistry to the point where it looks likes an us against them with Dennis caught in the middle. We know Dwight tends to loaf when he's not involved but last week you started to see some weird body language from Millsap and Sefalosha and that's when I knew things were about to get really ugly. Bud sending out the 2nd unit to start the 3rd is a step in the right direction.

This team is 100% him and they lookin like a dumpster fire. The 6ers, Kings, and Wolves look like shyt but at least they got some best young stars in the league. Most people don't wanna admit it, but the turnaround in Atlanta is because of Danny Ferry. He managed to move that atrocious Joe Johnson contract and eventually crafted that 60 win team. Bud played his part too, but that checks and balance of a dedicated coach and GM is always important. Ever since Bud and Wilcox took over, things have been trending downward.

Baze is grossly overpaid. Not even gonna sugarcoat it. He's in no way shape of form a $70 million player, no matter how inflated the NBA economics are now. At best he's a good sixth man or someone you start when your regular starter is hurt.

I'm tired of making excuses for German Chocolate. They moved Teague and gave him the contract because NOW is the time for him to start living up to that potential. He can't use the whole shared minutes thing as an excuse anymore. He had a good game tonight, but I need him to start being more consistent with it

And Dwight is just Dwight. He plays like a beast when he's in a good mood and feels like it. But when things start going bad, we get 2 point performances like tonight. If we're honest, we only got him because we're a franchise that struggles to bring in the top tier free agents and Howard was the best option we had since no one else really wanted him :francsis:

And it's time for Korver to go. He had a nice run as one of the top shooters in the league and managed to make an All Star team. Congrats. But his time is up

Our best team in franchise history won 60 games and got swept in the conference finals. This team is nowhere as good and I don't feel like supporting the same old middle of the road Hawks anymore. I've got no problem hitting the reset buttom and going #tankonia if need be. If we can't sign a star, then let's draft one. But this mediocrity BS gotta end. Either we playing for championships or we rebuilding

Edy moves better than him, he don't move out of the paint, last one down the floor. his transition defense and offense is bad, his shooting is terrible, can't shoot FT, can not pass the rock, stupid as fukk. He is a fukking clown. I hate his ass, he's starting to give me Josh Smith tease.

I hope we get someone solid like LeVine, I don't really like Zach much but players with decent potential is probably the best we can get for Sap. Maybe even Marquese Chriss but he doesn't really fit the system.
