I actually feel sorry for yall.
The Knicks-Hawks coli rivalry was a cool part of this whole thing. It doesn't feel right to tease yall unless your team is actually good.
So with that being said, I'll leave my trolling at the door and actually talk basketball w/ yall.
Since Millsap has one more year on the contract, he'd be such a valuable trade asset. He's very skilled though and it would be a risk trading him for picks that may never materialize into significant talent.
I actually think Schroeder is the better piece to part with.
Have almost everyone on the trade block except Millsap, get money off the books and lottery position will give yall a chance at a new future.
That Howard contract is a problem. The Nets are still thinking about putting butts in seats- they'd be a trade partner who'd take him in exchange for mid level talent.
shyt, see if yall could get Cousins for Howard and whatever else they want.
Cousins is a hot head but atleast he'll be, on paper, a valuable young talent to build around.

at you thinking shyt done changed up

If it's for draft picks, I'm cool with that. I'd prefer it really. I don't see a scenario where he decides to stay past this summer. He's at that point in his career similar to Al where winning a championship is the top priority now. Horford left cause he didn't think Atlanta had a realistic chance of winning one anytime soon and you have to think Sap is thinking the same. Get what you can for him and rebuild.
yeah he's got his issues for sure, but dude is still just 26. Maybe he just needs a change of scenery. I'd honestly be willing to take a chance on him, but that's just me.
