ATL…overly
Kyle Korver got in as a Starter cause the Hawks had a #1 seed.... Are u really Rollin with that logic :gucci:

Korver wasn't a starter on the 2015 All Star team. As a matter of fact none of the Hawks were, they were all reserves

West is stacked, others who got snubbed were more deserving. With some of his postseason performances and all the preseason hype came heightened expectations. This was supposed to be a "next step" season. He was getting legit MVP promotion at the start of the season. He kind of just looks like the same player, running in place, on a worse team.

If I'm Portland I don't hang up the phone on other teams calling for Dame either. Not to say that Lillard is trash or anything, but he and CJ provide the same kind of offense more or less - and right now, there are teams that would happily break the bank to get Lillard. Portland's got holes all over the court to fill and right now they have almost no solid options when it comes to moving forward.

I'm not saying shop Lillard. But if he were to land Portland something better than the Deron Williams package, I think you gotta listen....

Eh?

People were clowning the Jazz for trading Deron Williams like he was gonna be a CP3 level talent for another decade - they got a damned good haul for a guy who'd peaked. And the dumb shyt still happens too, plenty of team get caught too desperate for a comeup and end up mortgaging everything. With the cap going up and new changes to the CBA, its gonna be easier than ever to farm and most importantly maintain talent IF your team is committed to doing just that. Which means not embracing treadmills and overvaluing / logjamming your current roster.

For example, Detroit would give damn near everything they have short of Drummond to land Lillard. At the same time, it wouldn't surprise anyone if Lillard and Drummond both didn't get significantly better than they are right now (which really isn't even all that uncommon in today's NBA... Blake, Dwight, Brook Lopez, hell even Bledsoe - guys peak young and its rare that they keep improving all that much past a certain point anymore).

Like every CBA, smart GMs cash out before everyone else catches on. Utah got a package for Deron that Denver wishes they'd got for Melo. A few years later Harden gets had for pennies. Later Steve Nash's corpse haunts LA and Dragic does the same in Miami. This isn't a 'oh shyt, 2009 was way way long ago :dwillhuh::dwillhuh: ' scenario. Teams get hustled every year.

And to be clear, I'm not saying *Trade Damian*, I'm saying homie might be worth a hell of a lot more than Portland thinks.

Theyre gonna have to trade one of em....its hard to win with a backcourt of two 6'3" guys that cant play any defense unless you have a world class frontcourt and Portland has one of tha worst frontcourts in tha league
