Heading there July 4th weekend. Need some tips on where to go, what to do and eat?

A lot of people are going to say Pat's or Geno's and in my opinion both of them shyts are overrated and overpriced. Idk which part of Philly you're in - probably center city? In my opinion the best cheesesteak is in this restaurant called Angelo's in Northeast, right off of Tomlinson - it's called Angelo's special steak and that shyt is just

Yea, I'd say head down the South St/Penns Landing area..it will surely be very active down there with all of the celebrations goin on...then head down to the JFK Parkway for the Concert if you're not too scared of the crowd..I think it starts at 7pm (Fireworks, The Roots, Neyo, Jill Scott and more but I can't think of em')

Wack... If you want to spend 300+ there's quality... 150/ half hour hoes are very hit or miss and the good ones are in AC during summer. Nothing like miami or ny.


Regular girls?

Philly is dope for college girls... I like the college chicks here from out of town, girls from philly are whatever... Alot of vapid gold diggers in center city

I am going to a family type reunion thing. I'm probably not going to party. Just want to see the sites and eat good food and I wouldn't mind seeing the Roots live as stated above.

Be careful. The last few years there's been groups of teens going around jumping people on 4th of July. You should be okay but keep an eye out.

Dont go anywhere near the parkway, too much traffic and fukkery on the 4th. And the later it gets younv nikkas like to show off, flash mob and shyt.
