Cassettes have been back low-key for a while if you've been paying attention to indie labels. A cheap way to mass market a physical release. My buddy just released an experimental album on this label called F*AG-TAPES (no joke that is the name of the label) and they specialise in cassette only releases. Some true indie hipster music nerd connoisseur shyt. Lol.

I'm a music junkie, and certain classic/old songs/albums are not on vinyl, cd's or mp3.

The cassette sections in vinyl/record shops is very underrated.
