I'm like that too. I don't think it's ADHD tho.

my mind just races a lot.

In a way, it's a great thing, because it's enabled me to do a lot of great things because I can think my way out of situations backwards and forwards

Plus, since I think so much, sometimes I think about ideas that nobody else thinks about and I'm able to implement them.

The drawback is that sometimes I think too much and it's hard for me to stop.

Can you read a book without wondering off every 10 seconds ?

Or watch video without doing the same thing?

Or even think without wondering off?

Go to the doctor to get a professional assessment.

if your wandering mind hinders your day to day activities such as errands or work or school, just take the Adderall and go about your day

I have/had this problem as well.

I think for me it’s because I multitask on my phone way too much. The coli/Facebook/twitter/Snapchat/discord/tv on/laptop open/

I’ve cut out social media and tv so now I don’t feel as overwhelmed now.

You need to go get a brain scan, specifically an Functional MRI. Also, neurofeedback traning/EEG.

I have ADHD Inattentive -- and was diagnosed about 10 years ago.

About three years ago I finally got the fMRI - and it shows up if you have it.

If you do have it - stay away from meds. It's not fun. Don't get me wrong - I love my adhd meds, but if I could do it over - I would have never took them.

Go with the neurofeedback therapy.

I think I have Adhd inattentive. So, what were your symptoms like? Was it just a problem concentrating?

My mind races all the time. Much more as I get older. And social media definitely plays a part. Question: Do you work from home?

Can you share why you say to stay away from meds? What meds have you used?

For me, they have been a necessary burden. Meaning, in addition to being super helpful, they come with other things you have to deal with.

Like my weight.

I stay in the mid 120's - low 130's as a 5'2 woman. But, It affects and changes your metabolism. If you take time off like a weekend, month -- even a day -- you know -- and it affects your life. For me, I am sleepy and non-productive. I can overeat -- and even though I work out and eat plant-based -- I will gain.

It messing with your B12 levels and potassium levels. Can lead to dehydration, if you are not making sure you are drinking enough water or getting enough electrolytes.

I can go on, but I won't. It affects everyone differently. But, if I could do it over, I would have never popped that first pill.

I started on Adderall -- but last year switched to Zenzedi (Dextroamphetamine).

Mainly focusing and concentrating.

Sensitive to noise. I can't block things out - and it messes up the little concentration I did have.

Tired, no motivation/drive to do what I needed to be doing. As a business owner and managing people - it was a TASK before getting diagnosed.

Mind-drifting: Not really listening when people are talking directly to me -- basically not processing what they are saying - cause I am thinking about something else or focusing on something else about them.

Daydreaming.

Forgetfulness.

Procrastination.

It takes a lot of effort to listen and read/focus if I am not interested or passionate about a topic.

How is dextro compared to adderall? More speedy feel?
