Thinking Of Building My Credit: Which Credit Card Should I start with?

I've been thinking about maybe using the Amazon Prime Rewards card or an American Express but not sure. Which would you folks recommend and why?

Also is there ever a point when paying off just the minimum is ok?

Go on nerd wallet and look up cards that are easy to apply to first and check those out and don’t forget to check the APR.

I was told it's not smart to do that, especially when starting because you have to pay them off.

I also have no credit so I wouldn't be approved for many of them out there anyway I found out
