I hate to jump into these discussions, but cotdamn, yall sound so silly.
First of all, 8 core AMD APUbs = NextGEN...................................................
Not saying that as a PC gamer, as I haven't in years, but that's HTPC status.
Second, 8 core Jaguar based APU....................................................cheap ultrabook status
That was next gen........................ 4 years ago, maybe. Unless I can use one of these as a media center extender, they both lost years ago. If I want to start gaming again, I'll spend more money on a better experience. And I know you niccas aint still playing FPSs with controllers...................
Next gen has and will always be controlled by consoles....pc will look better but we control the jump.

It's so easy to pirate a PC game its almost laughable.
There is no pc game right now that uses more than 2 or 3 cores.... 4 at most, now with these consoles maybe all the cores will e used and u will start to see some really cool things.
Mouse and keyboard on consoles will never happen.

So what your saying is they shoulda went with Titan gpu and i7 cpu?
Maybe retail for around 1200$?
I assume you know this since you use to do the PC gaming thing but consoles only need a fraction of the hardware to get the same performance as a pc.
If you built a PC rig using the same parts they are for these consoles, then that PC would underperform compared to the console, by a lot.
A PC built using parts that are found in a ps3/360 wouldn't even be able to run a game from this gen
This is not a knock at PC gaming cause the best part of PC gaming is that your wallet is the only thing holding you back from a better experience.
But console gaming and PC gaming are not the same. Yes you can build a PC for 700 and get equal or better performance but the differences are so small you might as well get a console. You gotta drop serious cash to get a PC rig running a whole gen head of the pack
