I finally gave it a listen in the system first and was like

Now Im looking at people like after finishing it

This shyt better than Oxymoron clearly and im not really an ab-soul fan. Q is my favorite

What's the hate for this album? Like I don't understand, Soul was dropping some heat on this joint. Rhymes were on point, production fit the mood of the whole album, sounded like one full cohesive project (not just a bunch of songs thrown together in no particular order).
And again, the bars were ON POINT.

Do you fools listen to music or do you check to see if the beat is hot then turn the song within the first 20 seconds?

Nah I bumped it 5 times trying to like it but his production is lackluster not good not bad but definitely not good enough for a DEBUT album. Like nothing about this album says hey world I have finally arrived don't sleep. he has some cool songs but peole expected Ab soul to come in and give us atleast the next black on both sides. this shyt is a fukking mixtape. Real talk. He blew his shot, nikkas been on the sidelines jealous of kendrick the entire time meanwhile this album SCREAMS Contentment. Dude wifed up a video queen, been on tour with tde making paper this ni99a made an album someone on their 4th or 5th album makes. WHERE IS THE HUNGER?!?!? Where is the talent or effort put into the album where dude is claiming his spot? there isn't NONE of that I don't even LIKE scholboy Q and his shyt is beter I LIKE ABSOUL. I had expected a classic or atleast a 4 mic album this shyt is 3 mics and sounds, eh.

My nikka you don't know me I have all Ab SOul's work and I actually expected a near classic album. this shyt isn't shyt. I fukk with underground music. I played the album for week everytime my nikkas heard it they were like turn that wack shyt off. Lyrically his album is dope but so was Canibus' first album. Musically this ni99a failed which is why he has the weakest debut album on TDE ever. Don't tell me wha I crowned you peon ass nikka I already gave my opinion on the album. Oh yeah AND this ni99a posted a battle on his own album a battle he LOST.

i like the album a lot. TDE & the OVOXO crowd are by far the two best modern sounds in rappity rap.

Album was ok, there were a few wack tracks but like i said in the other thread they didnt hurt the overall project which he already said the album would reflect where he was at today, so with that i already expected something to cater to tge masses. And again Ab was never this crazy intellectual rapper so i dont see how nikkas are up in arms about his content. And in this new gen of average to below average of skills it aint hard for a mc like Soul to stand out
