Very simple sir, lets say you got the ball and you cross the halfcourt line. I can just yell out "2-3 defense" and my D will change immediately to that.
Otherwise I would have to press the D-pad then a button or maybe a trigger button to go to a 2nd page of defenses before I choose.
Sometimes while doing that, whoever your playing has scored on you.
Another way is you can say "Sub in Dwight Howard" and just like in real life you'll see the player get off the bench and wait at the scorers table until a stop in play
The technical foul is just an added charm, like in REAL LIFE the refs don't tech you up for cursing on the court.
You get the T if you curse AFTER A FOUL is called. Basically if you don't agree with the call and you act like a hoe verbally? They get you
If you tried playing, Kobe would probably get a tech for calling you a fukking fakkit
