I think one of the reasons the character barely gets any play is because the actor looks like he's 22 now and makes Paige look like his lil sis 
Man Phil can't get no fukking Ws not only does he end up having to work a female Rainman then he realizes he killed in cold blood for nothing. And you know he's gonna find out his son went through hell to meet him and got rejected by his handlers. There's only so much a man can take
